With its 100° expanded field of view and unrivaled sharpness, this camera is perfect for capturing detailed images in tight situations. The ZEISS Secacam 5 Wide-Angle delivers sharp images at approximately 35 cm, so you never miss a moment. Its compact design and lightweight construction make it ideal for mounting in tight spaces, ensuring maximum coverage of the hunting area.

The compact design and low weight of the ZEISS Secacam 5 allow the camera to be mounted in tight spaces, trees, bushes or other inaccessible places. This allows it to be used in a variety of terrain types and habitats.

Firmly in place

Simply mount the trail camera in place using a strap, cable tie or tripod thread (not included) and start monitoring right away with plug-and-play functionality. All batteries, SD card and SIM card are already installed.

Easy to activate

The ZEISS Secacam 5 and 7 are easy to use even without in-depth technical knowledge: their intelligent default settings are already perfect for most applications. However, if you want to change something, the large color display and backlit keys make it easy.

Hassle-free connection

In the last step, simply connect the ZEISS Secacam with the ZEISS Secacam app. Enter the activation code included with the camera into the app to connect the two devices. From now on, you are ready to monitor your hunting ground in maximum image quality.

The wide angle lens allows the camera to capture a wide field of view, ensuring that more of the surrounding area is included in the frame. This is especially beneficial for monitoring large areas or bait stations, where animals may approach from various directions.

With a close focus of 35cm, the camera is able to capture sharp, detailed images of close-up subjects. This minimizes blind spots, ensuring that even small or fast-moving animals are captured clearly.

Even heat and snowfall do not impair the functionality of the game cameras.

The ZEISS Secacam App not only lets you control your wildlife camera, but also share it with your contacts. You can also check camera status data such as battery level at any time, check the camera's location on a map or view the best shots in the gallery.

Wide network coverage in Europe*

The modern LTE module with integrated multi-roaming SIM card can connect to the networks of a wide range of providers and automatically selects the best network available on site. The cameras are able to transmit to 35 countries, including Switzerland, Norway and the United Kingdom, at no additional cost.

Ready to use in five minutes

Setting up the ZEISS Secacam 5 and 7 doesn’t require any know-how or a lot of time. The multi-roaming SIM and the 32 GB memory card, as well as 8 charged LR6 (AA) batteries, are already inserted – so you can get started right away.

Fast activation speed

The high sensitivity of the motion sensor accurately detects the movements of animals. The fast shutter speed (< 0.35 ~ 0.45 seconds) of the ZEISS Secacam minimizes motion blur for easier response. When triggering, the game camera automatically adjusts the flash intensity, which is invisible to animals and humans. This prevents incorrect exposures and minimizes energy consumption.

Small and compact

The small size of this wildlife camera makes it a flexible hunting aid; there is always room for the ZEISS Secacam 5. Thanks to its low weight, it can be transported more easily and used flexibly, even on smaller objects.

"Color the Night"

With the "Color the Night" function, night shots are recolored to obtain detailed images even in the dark. For this purpose, the colors of a reference image from the day are analyzed and transferred to the night.

Low cost video reception
Available starting from the Premium plan
Videos are recorded at up to 30 fps (frames per second) and saved in mp4 format. A resolution of 720p is recommended. While 1080p resolution may result in a somewhat better video quality, the video files will be larger and therefore require significantly more space on the memory card. The resolution and length of the videos sent are limited (480p | 10 seconds) and are based on the settings selected in the menu.

Advanced species recognition

Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based animal recognition for camera traps is an advanced technology that allows you to automatically identify and classify animals in images. The images can then be viewed sorted in the app gallery.
