The new LT cuts up to 20% of the reel weight compared to the old Crossfire design, a requirement not to be underestimated for an angler who has spent a long day fishing. The solid ABS aluminum spool resists bending and distortion and is deep enough. The heart of the spool is cold-forged and precision-milled Digigears.
The manufacturing process optimizes the sliding between the main gears and the pinion. The innovative grease, patented by Daiwa, makes the Advanced Tournament Drag System (ATD) one of the smoothest on the market. The machined aluminum handle optimizes grip.
With spool sizes between 1000 and 6000, the new DAIWA CROSSFIRE LT line is comfortable in both freshwater and slightly salty water.
