Developed by Des Shipp for targeting F1 and commercial carp, F1 has proven to be a revolution in modern fishmeal groundbait. It has also proven to be very successful with skimmers as well.
Since its release it has been the groundbait of choice for many top anglers and has proven devastating in many matches in many different venues. By adding our unique blend of sweet attraction to a blend of fishmeal and crushed pellets, we have created a groundbait that starts catching from the whistle and with prolonged holding power ensures the fish stay in your swim.
Sonubaits leads the way by first introducing a sweet fishmeal groundbait designed for F1 and skimmers. The original and the best.
It is easy to mix and binds well to a method feeder and breaks down quickly, it all depends on the ingredients used. The fine fishmeal particles create an inactive mixture when moistened, perfect for rapid distribution of feed around the hook. It can also be balled up or cupped.
The F1 Original groundbait is part of a wider range which includes hookbaits, feed pellets, pastes and liquids which can all be used alone or in combination with other baits.
Des Shipp (England International) said: "If your game is going to be won with large skimmers and F1 on pole, I'll mix a bag of F1 groundbait as soon as I get to my peg."
Mixing Guidelines
F1 groundbait is simple to mix. Empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket, fill a 2 pint maggot tray with water, pour this over the groundbait and mix thoroughly, then leave to sit for 30 minutes, during this time the water will be absorbed by the groundbait. So for best results; to eliminate any lumps and create a homogeneous consistency, pass the groundbait through a riddle and it is ready to use.
When fishing the sun and wind can dry out the groundbait a little, to combat this you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel or if it dries out just add a little more water and mix again.
