The use of Band'ums has become synonymous with Method Feeder fishing, whether you're a match angler, carp angler or freshwater angler simply enjoying a pleasant day on the bank, and the variety offered by these hookbaits has proven incredibly effective when catching carp and other quality fish on a wide range of venues.
That said, Band'ums, as the name suggests, were created for just that: to be used in conjunction with an elastic band, an approach many anglers still prefer today. However, given the demand for a softer wafter, we were eager to introduce a Method rig to our range suited to this style of presentation.
Spike'um Wafters have been developed through extensive testing to ensure an effective wafter that retains its effectiveness as a wafter hookbait, while being soft enough to be used with a pin or bayonet system, without being too soft to be easily dislodged during the cast or by small, nuisance fish. Additionally, we've ensured that Spike'ums maintain a consistency that lasts well after opening, a consistency we strive to maintain in all our Method baits.
