Pellets made from halibut meal are a superb bait for all species of fish, particularly barbel and chub, we have taken this pellet and enriched it with a concentrated garlic and cheese flavour.

The garlic and cheese flavor is a very potent flavour, ideal for use in running or murky waters as the smell is strong enough to attract fish to the bait.

This black halibut pellet can also be used dry through a feeder, in fact a common way is to insert the 4 mm version inside a maggot feeder to create an olfactory trail and a slow release of the contents downstream .

They can also be used through a net feeder or a River feeder by simply moistening them with water. For this preparation it is sufficient to place the necessary quantity of pellets in a container and pour a little water over it until it covers the surface of the pellets. Then wait 30 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to make sure the water is absorbed evenly, so that the water is absorbed. The pellets will soften slightly allowing them to bond together once placed inside a mesh open end.

The release speed can be changed by squeezing more or less during loading, to keep them in the feeder for longer.

Generally at the beginning of a session, when you want to create a bed of bait, you need to create a loosely compressed load to allow quick dispersion, but as the session progresses it is possible to create a more compressed feeder to slow down the speed of escape .
