The Garmont Dakota lite GTX boot is a very comfortable boot, with a compression-free snug cuff. Excellent differentiated lacing (forefoot, neck) which facilitates traction and customization of the closure. Sole with excellent grip on almost all terrains (excellent on grass, stones, gravel, less performing on rock, there is no "climbing zone"). The slightly large volumes at the front do not cause movements of the foot that could disturb walking. Full satisfaction.
Garmont Dakota lite GTX is a boot dedicated to every activity below the ice line. Trekking, hiking, multi-day outings on impervious paths, rocks and screes. On easy and uniform terrain the shoe is wasted and can even be tiring. Therefore, a model for motivated, trained trekkers with important goals. Not for those starting out or sticking exclusively to predictable terrain. The generous volumes indicate a predisposition for feet with a wide support base (medium and wide sole).
The anatomical Garmont® (add®) design encourages the foot to use its natural ability to find stability, absorb impacts and provide effective push-off. Design and functionality adapt to the typical asymmetries of the foot, improving the fit.

ASYMMETRICAL CUFF
The cuff is lowered on the outside and higher on the inside to improve progression, guarantee greater stability and comfort during high altitude crossings and scrambling.
ANATOMICAL TONGUE
The tongue adapts to the asymmetric shape of the top of the foot and ankle. It is thicker on the outside and progressively thins towards the inside. The anatomical shape keeps the tongue in place, increasing control, stability and comfort.
DIFFERENTIAL ANKLE PADS
