Three levels of sensitivity amplification
Axion 2 thermal devices feature an innovative image optimization methodology, based on the conditions and purpose of observation, and provide a highly qualitative image of both objects and background. Three levels of signal amplification, in addition to an image homogeneity filter and fine adjustment of brightness and contrast, offer the hunter great opportunities for detecting an animal at long distances in different weather and temperature conditions, and determine its characteristics.
High quality reinforced magnesium alloy housing
Axion is designed for continuous and often abrupt use. The magnesium alloy housing is lightweight yet durable, and provides the thermal device's internal components with protection from impacts, drops, heat and cold. Furthermore, the metal housing effectively removes heat from the electronic components, minimizes image noise and helps the instrument operate smoothly during long observations.
Lynred sensors of European production
Axion 2 is equipped with a Lynred sensor, built in Europe, capable of detecting a qualitative signal in difficult observation conditions, such as rain, fog and high humidity.
F35/1.0 fast aperture lens
The F35/1.0 germanium lens is characterized by high infrared transmission in the long wave range (LWIR). Thanks to the extreme precision in the construction of the optical elements of the lens, the image generated by the Axion 2 thermal sensor stands out for its sharpness and richness of detail.
Long battery life. Up to 11 hours on a single charge.
The powerful APS5 rechargeable battery ensures 11 hours of continuous operation of the thermal instrument on a single charge. The battery can be removed from its housing and replaced with another in seconds. It can be recharged in a special device or, inside the instrument, from a PC, from a home power supply or from a charger via USB-C connection. These same sources can be used to externally power a thermal instrument.
Enhanced Wi-Fi connectivity with 2.4/5 GHz frequency band support
In Axion 2 thermal viewers the standard 2.4 GHz frequency for WiFi connection to a smartphone is combined with an efficient 5 GHz frequency band. The latter offers better bandwidth, higher data transfer speed, protection from disturbances and better connection stability, which translate into greater efficiency and convenience of using the thermal device with a smartphone.
User mode
Adjust contrast and brightness to maximize the rendering of details and the information value of images in all observation conditions. User mode saves contrast and brightness settings in the device's memory, instantly providing optimal image quality for future uses of the thermal imager, without the need for further adjustments.
Detection distance up to 1750 meters
A powerful F35/1.0 objective lens, combined with an extremely sensitive thermal sensor, ensures exceptional detection capabilities. An ordinary object with a height of 180 cm can be detected from a distance of up to 1750 meters in complete darkness.
Small size and light weight
Axion 2 comes in a pocket-sized, space-saving format and weighs just 300 grams. The device is easy to handle and can be used with both the right and left hand thanks to the symmetrical design and the buttons aligned on the top panel.
Variable magnification
Digital zoom improves focus and overall object recognition at significant distances. The zoom varies either incrementally with a 2x step or continuously, thus obtaining an optimized and personalized field of view for each situation.
Integrated photo and video recording. Free 16GB cloud storage
Axion 2 has a built-in video recorder. Axion 2's internal memory allows you to save hours of footage and tens of thousands of photographs. A simple press of a button is enough to take a photo or start a video, which can then be transferred to a computer via USB-C connection. Axion 2 owners have 16 GB of free storage space in the Pulsar Cloud, for saving photos and videos taken with their tool. Simply install the Stream Vision 2 application, log in and connect the instrument to a smartphone via Wi-Fi.
Remote operations with smartphone and software update via the Stream Vision 2 App
The integrated WiFi module connects Axion 2 to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 application. This allows you to perform various operations, such as wirelessly updating the device software, real-time transmission of images from the device to the smartphone, posting photos and videos taken with the tool on social media, remote control of digital features and access to the latest Pulsar news. Furthermore, registered users get 16 GB of storage space in the Cloud for saving photos and videos taken with their device.
Quick Launch
Axion 2 is characterized by a very short startup time: within 5 seconds of pressing the ON button the device is fully operational. Quick start reduces power consumption; during hunting it is not necessary to keep Axion 2 always on, but only when necessary.
High contrast AMOLED display
The high-contrast AMOLED display offers better color rendering, energy saving and fast response time, providing sharp and precise images even during observations in freezing weather.
8 color palettes
A choice of 8 color palettes allows the user to observe the field of view more effectively, optimizing the device for specific tasks, as well as adapting to variations in viewing conditions. Hot white, hot black and hot red are ideal for object detection; rainbow and ultramarine increase the chances of recognition and identification. Monochrome red, sepia and violet are best suited for long night observations.
