Penn Overseas II Offshore Spinning travel is a series of 4-section travel rods designed for sea spinning for the most powerful predators of the Mediterranean and tropical seas such as giant trevally, red tuna, yellofin tuna, sailfish, marlin, large jackfish of various species, groupers, amberjacks, yellowtails, tarpon, ocean barracuda.
This is a series of rods with uncompromising reliability, powerful but at the same time easy to handle and well balanced that allow us to manage a wide range of baits, all this with a truly minimal size to be able to easily transport them even in a travel bag.
The blank of these rods is in 4 segments and is made of 24 Ton high modulus carbon with "Spigot" type joints. This solution allows for a continuous and regular taper without diameter jumps, so the bend of the rod is very progressive and free of points subject to excessive stress. The diameter of the barrel is very small along its entire length, thus allowing for a lower overall weight of the rod and improved balance and handling.
They are assembled with high quality components, using Fuji New Slim O-Ring guides with double bridge frame in stainless steel with anti-corrosion treatment Corrosion Control CC & BC Finish.
They are equipped with a very sturdy reel seat with stainless steel blocks with a satin silver finish and a double locking screw. The handle is full (not split) in high density EVA, laser-sculpted in an ergonomic and very rational shape and signed with the Overseas II logo. They are equipped with a good-sized EVA fighting butt for the correct support on the groin during combat.
Every aesthetic detail is extremely refined and denotes an incredibly high production quality.
