With 3 ball bearings, a roller bearing and Shimano gears, you can't help but notice how well this model spins and rotates. This is further enhanced by the XT-7's sturdy body, which offers protection to the internal parts, should it be accidentally dropped or mishandled. It should be noted that the spool is made of aluminium, not plastic, and has an AR-C design which is found even on more expensive Shimano models!
