The Daiwa Iprimi LT is a reel designed specifically for the Italian Trout Area market and suitable for all light techniques.

A reel designed specifically for Trout Area fishing for the Italian market: the new 24 Iprimi is lighter and more responsive than the previous generation (-15 grams) thanks to a new design and construction materials. The rotor, now an Airdrive type with a spherical design, is made of ZAION V, as is the body. This is a patented Daiwa carbon composite that combines great lightness with excellent rigidity. Extreme smoothness is ensured by 6 bearings, one of which is a corrosion-resistant CRBB type located inside the line roller, while the next-generation ATD Type-L drag is calibrated for maximum sensitivity, essential for Trout Area fishing.

Airdrive Design

AIRDRIVE DESIGN is the new construction concept developed to improve fixed spool reels, optimizing their lightness, smoothness and reducing their rotation inertia without compromising their robustness.

It is based on the redesign of the key components of the reels:

AIRDRIVE ROTOR

The new rotor, with a design aimed at reducing rotational inertia, maintains solidity and resistance while weighing less than the previous Air Rotor, thanks to significant structural improvements.

AIRDRIVE BAIL

An evolution of the popular Air Bail, the Airdrive Bail is thinner, lighter, and yet more durable. Its angle has also been revised to improve the line's flow toward the roller.

The latest innovation regarding the bow is the AIRDRIVE BAIL version - solid, lighter than the previous one (8%) and more resistant to stress: the durability and resistance over time of the mechanism

opening has more than doubled.

AIRDRIVE SHAFT

The new Airdrive Shaft minimizes friction and power loss, ensuring smooth, silent rotation; the Main Shaft, supported by special collars, moves without contact with the pinion, unlike traditional systems.

AIRDRIVE SPOOL

Optimized spool for weight and functionality: weight reduction for better oscillation, anti-kink deflector and revised clicker mechanism for a clearer sound.

The various components of the AIRDRIVE DESIGN can be present on the new Daiwa reels in whole or in part depending on the model.

ATD

Automatic progressive clutch. With the ATD, the spool brake reacts smoothly to the initial pull, then gradually adjusts to the set "brake."

The concept of progressive clutch is taken to the extreme with the new ATD-TYPE L:

now the resistance of the discs is even more progressive and adjustable, allowing for more effective and safe recovery even with thin wires.
