The Presso LTD AGS - Italian Special are top-of-the-line trout area rods developed specifically for the Italian market. These rods combine Daiwa technology with the expertise of Japanese testers.
Overview
A "Special" that follows the Presso LTD AGS 20th Anniversary of the Japanese market: it is the special version dedicated exclusively to the Italian market and reflects its top-level quality and performance.
Even lighter and more sensitive than the "standard" LTD AGS, this special series is designed for a target of competitive anglers who want a product of pure excellence for tackling competitions. The definitive trout area rod.
The blanks use a special SVF Nanoplus Compile X Carbon: a very high-level carbon, treated with polymers that act on the nanometric scale (Nanoplus). SVF Nanoplus Compile X, thanks to its even higher density and lower resin content, allows for the creation of even thinner, more responsive and super-sensitive blanks than "standard" SVF Nanoplus carbon.
Furthermore, performance is further improved by the X45X Full Shield technology: a reinforcement composed of multiple layers of carbon, strengthens the barrel and reduces torsion during the casting phase to improve accuracy.
These extremely high density and lightweight carbon blanks, together with the very light AGS carbon rings, give the PRESSO ITALIAN SPECIAL an unbeatable sensitivity.
63UL
The "PRESSO LTD AGS 63UL Italian Special" is extremely sensitive with high casting performance. The lightweight blank (99% carbon) provides exceptional sensitivity, allowing the angler to detect even the faintest bites at long distances and allowing fish to be hooked more easily, thanks also to the rigid tip section.

Technologies
SVF Nanoplus
Combining Nanoplus resin with SVF fibers. Nanoplus technology provides the composite material with increased strength and flexibility. This allows the material to absorb even the strongest and most violent shocks more effectively.
X45
This new technology allows for significantly stiffer and more durable blanks than the standard X45. Energy transfer along the blank is 25% more efficient, resulting in greater structural rigidity and torsional resistance.
AGS
A revolutionary construction concept led to the creation of the first carbon-framed guides. Not just any carbon, but a sophisticated multilayer with a four-way weave, both extremely strong and lightweight. For the same diameter, a Daiwa AGS guide weighs 42% less than a titanium one and is three times stiffer, with unimaginable advantages in rod balance, sensitivity, and, last but not least, its look.
V-Joint
Perfect curves. This configuration ensures that the joint between the sections is as flexible as the rest of the rod, with enormous advantages in terms of strength and reduction of residual oscillations during the cast.
