The EL Range 12x42 is a binocular with a built-in rangefinder. At the touch of a button, it can measure distance, angle, temperature and air pressure. The 12x magnification allows for incredible detail recognition, both near and far. Therefore, you will be able to easily identify wildlife at different distances. The 42 mm objective lens diameter ensures that plenty of light enters the optical device, making high-contrast observations possible even at dusk. Weighing just 930 g, the EL Range fits lightly and ergonomically in the hand thanks to its practical wrap-around grip. You can configure the EL Range individually. With a large field of view of 96 m at 1,000 m, you can keep an eye on everything, despite the high magnification. The optionally available FRR-42 front mount for the EL Range 42 helps you to keep the EL Range stable. This way, you will see sharp and stable images. With the EL Range, you are ready for any challenge and can experience REVOLUTIONARY PRECISION.
What to Consider When Choosing Binoculars
Enlargement
Magnification refers to the factor by which an object appears closer than it actually is. The higher the magnification, the closer the object appears. However, a higher magnification also means a narrower field of view. In the full product name, the number in front of the "x" indicates the magnification level. A 10x42 instrument, for example, offers 10x magnification.
Field of view
The field of view indicates the size of the image area visible through the optics. The field of view can be expressed in meters (width) at a distance of 1000 meters (m/1000m) or in degrees (angle). The higher the magnification, the smaller the field of view.
Binoculars have a wide field of view, which means they allow you to see a large area. Spotting scopes offer higher magnification, which makes the field of view much smaller, but still allows you to see more detail.
Lens diameter
The diameter of the objective lens determines how much light can enter the optics. It is therefore a key factor in the performance of an optical instrument, for example at twilight. The larger the objective lens diameter, the more light the objective lens can capture. The darker the environment, the larger the objective lens diameter must be. In the full product name, the number after the "x" indicates the objective lens diameter in millimeters. For example, an instrument with the suffix 10x42 has an objective lens diameter of 42 mm.
Min. focusing distance
The minimum focusing distance indicates how close an object must be to be clearly visible with the lens. The image can be focused between this minimum distance and infinity.

Smart Features: Customizable, Individual Ballistics and Tracking Assistant
Available in green and orange
Rapid identification and accurate evaluation of game thanks to SWAROVISION
The innovative SWAROVISION technology ensures perfect color fidelity and distortion-free images with field flattener lenses. The special curvature of the lenses allows you to identify even the smallest details with true-to-life, high-contrast and razor-sharp focus right up to the edges. The edge-to-edge sharpness eliminates the need for constant refocusing. This allows you to assess game quickly and reliably.
Smart with the app and Tracking Assistant
The EL Range allows you to make an accurate assessment of any hunting situation. It can be configured in line with your specific needs and allows you to transfer your ballistic data as well as air pressure and temperature measurements. The values are taken into account to calculate the exact number of clicks. This allows you to make the right decisions for a clean shot while hunting. The innovative Tracking Assistant helps you to narrow down the area where you last hit the target.
Advise
For an even more stable image, combine your EL Range 12x42 with the optionally available front mount (FRR-42 Front Mount EL Range 42) or mount it elegantly on your tripod using the TAs tripod adapter. Enjoy wildlife observation from a distance even longer and with greater comfort.
