This high-profile hiking shoe is designed to provide grip on both deep and hard-packed snow thanks to lugs on the bottom and sides of the midsole. High-performance insulation and a waterproof membrane keep the cold out and heat in.

Winter Contagrip®: Designed for winter conditions, the Winter Contagrip® outsole uses a unique compound that maintains grip even in freezing temperatures. The tread pattern varies depending on the use.

PU Coated Leather: Leather coated with polyurethane, which protects it and makes it more robust, making it last longer.

Winter Insole: Designed for cold temperatures, the insole boasts a 4mm EVA foam layer for improved insulation, as well as a soft cover for maximum comfort.

quickLACE™: Thin, sturdy lace for one-pull fastening. Makes it easy to put on and take off the shoe.

MEMBRANE

adv.DRY: Salomon's 3-layer waterproof laminate. Made with a PFC-free membrane sandwiched between a 100% recycled fiber fabric and a nylon lining.
adv.WARM: Technologically advanced, cold-resistant insulation that offers an extraordinary warmth-to-weight ratio thanks to small air pockets between the fibers. Made with 70% recycled polyester.

SUSTAINABILITY

PFC-Free: To help reduce our environmental impact, we ensure our shoes are water-repellent without using harmful PFCs. Our waterproof GORE-TEX models are PFC-free.
