Aequilibrium ST GTX is the lightweight technical hiking boot ideal for via ferratas, trekking and glacier crossings and on mixed terrain. Maximum comfort of fit thanks to the tongue with integrated gusset and the soft snow gaiter on the collar. Exceptional walkability thanks to the innovative Double Heel™ heel construction: the very pronounced double rear lug geometry increases the braking effect when descending and allows for a smoother roll, reducing muscle fatigue. Durability and lightness coexist in harmony thanks to the new sole/midsole package with external Rubber Guard™ shell construction and internal foam material for accentuated cushioning and lightness derived from a reduced use of rubber layers. The shape is Ergonomic: enveloping and precise with integrated TPU shells at the toe and heel to reinforce the upper. The 3D Flex System Evo™ directional joint with shaped malleolus and anti-abrasion protection allows for better control of the support and perfect ankle mobility. The protective gaiter of the toe lacing protects against chafing. The midsole is semi-crampon compatible, the sole uses a Vibram® SpringLug Tech tread with Impact Brake System lugs for greater adaptability to hard rock surfaces. Mountaineering in perfect harmony.
