The midsole with the LOWA MONOWRAP® frame of the Z-8S GTX C ensures maximum comfort. This is a three-dimensional midsole design, which was developed by LOWA in 1995. This frame comfortably envelops the foot and supports it on uneven terrain. The sole of the models with STABILITY FRAME is raised.

SOLE AND UPPER FORM ONE UNIT
DOUBLE INJECTION
The sole of the Z-8S GTX C is connected to the upper using a technically complex injection process, which ensures effective cushioning and high comfort. The upper part of the shoe is then placed in a special mold, which is then filled with several layers of polyethylene foam. The result? A sole that is directly connected to the upper, forming a single unit.
Lightness
In this procedure polyurethane is used. It is a very light foam.
Cushioning
Polyurethane is a very light foam that has excellent cushioning properties. Even if they are continuously compressed, the millions of bubbles that compose it retain their shape and always return to their original state. The result is a good rebound effect.
Available in many versions
thanks to direct injection, it is possible to create very different sole variants. The various properties of the materials used allow to expand and diversify the areas of use of the shoes.
