The Mitchell Mag Pro R reels adopt a frame and rotor in GV5H material, which is both light and resistant. The gears are made of brass and the main shaft is machined from stainless steel. This modern rotor design uses less material to reduce weight and uses the Halo headband for added strength and to reduce flexing under pressure.
