The new generation of the Fuego embraces the "Light & Tough" philosophy even more completely: the new model is in fact more rigid, resistant and lighter than ever, thanks to the renewed design of the parts and the body and rotor in Zaion V, the innovative carbon-based super-material created by Daiwa.
Reliability and durability are guaranteed by the robust and efficient Tough Digigear control wheel of the latest generation and by Magsealed technology, a special magnetized oil membrane that protects the internal mechanisms from water and dirt. Furthermore, the Zaion V is totally free from corrosion, as it is made of carbon fibre.
Fuego is equipped with Automatic Tournament Drag, an automatic progressive clutch that reacts gently to the first solicitation, then setting itself to the set "brake".
The vast assortment of sizes (from 1000 to 6000), together with sturdiness and compactness, make the Fuego the ideal reel for the most diverse fishing techniques.
