Fixed spool reel that can be used for various techniques such as spinning, lake trout or Bolognese. The body is a MONOCOQUE in ZAION V, the latest development developed by Daiwa, a composite material based on carbon fibers capable of further improving the performance of LT (Light & Tough) reels: it is as light as the ZAION and significantly lighter stiffer and more stress-resistant than the DS of the 18 FREAMS LT. The body of the reel is protected by the MAG SEALED system developed by Daiwa, i.e. a special membrane of magnetized oil (MagOil) which seals the opening from the body from which the pinion emerges. The newly developed TOUGH DIGIGEAR control wheel, produced in aluminum, improves its resistance. The spool used is the LONG CAST ABS aluminum which improves casting performance. With the fantastic ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag) clutch, the brake on the spool reacts gently to the initial stress, then progressively setting to the set "brake". Equipped with 5 + 1 DAIWA CRBB bearings which are free from corrosion thanks to the grease inserted inside them and sealed with special cheeks on both faces. Super light one-piece aluminum crank.
