On/off
Tap the tail switch to momentarily turn on the light.
Press the tail switch to constantly turn on the light, press again to turn off the light.

Output selection
With the light on, tap the tail switch to cycle between Low → Medium → High.

Strobe
In any state, press and hold the tail switch for 0.5 seconds to activate the strobe.
Tap the queue switch to return to the previously used mode.

Intelligent memory circuit
The light memorizes the last selected output excluding the strobe. When switched on again, the previously used output of the general mode will be recalled.

Battery specifications

Warning: * 16340/18650 lithium ion batteries are powerful cells designed for commercial applications and should be treated with caution and handled with care. Using only quality batteries with circuit protection will reduce the potential for combustion or explosion; but cell damage or short circuit are potential risks that the user assumes.

Battery replacement
Unscrew the tail of the light to insert the battery with the anode (+) side towards the head of the light, then screw the tail of the light back on.

Intelligent protection against overheating
The light accumulates a lot of heat when used at high power level for extended periods. When the light reaches a temperature of 60°C or higher, the light will automatically dim a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60°C, it will allow the user to reselect High mode.

Low voltage warning
When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the flashlight is programmed to switch to a lower brightness level until low power is reached. When this happens in Low Power mode, the battery level indicator will flash 3 times every 5 minutes to remind you to recharge or replace the battery promptly.

Note: Only works with Fenix ​​ARB-L18 18650 Li-ion battery.

Use and maintenance

Disassembly of the sealed head may cause damage to the lamp and will void the warranty.
Fenix ​​recommends using a high quality battery.
If the light will not be used for a long time, please remove the battery, otherwise the light may be damaged by electrolyte leakage or battery explosion.
Unscrew the tail of the light or remove the battery to avoid accidental activation during storage or transportation.
Long-term use may cause wear of the O-rings. To maintain proper water tightness, replace the ring with an approved replacement．
Periodically cleaning the battery contacts improves the performance of the lamp as dirty contacts can cause the lamp to flicker, shine intermittently, or not even light up for the following reasons: A: The battery needs to be replaced.
Solution: Replace the battery pack/battery (make sure the battery is inserted according to the manufacturer's specifications) B: The threads, PCB board contact or other contacts are dirty.
Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton ball soaked in denatured alcohol.
