The Presso LTD AGS - Italian Special are top-level trout area rods developed specifically for the Italian market. These rods are a combination of Daiwa technologies and sensations of Japanese testers.
Overview
A "Special" that follows the Presso LTD AGS 20thAnniversary of the Japanese market: it is the special version dedicated exclusively to the Italian market and reflects its top-level quality and performance.
Even lighter and more sensitive than the "standard" LTD AGS, this special series is designed for a target of competitors who want a product of pure excellence to face competitions. The definitive trout area rod.
The blanks use a special SVF Nanoplus Compile X Carbon: a very high level carbon, treated with polymers that act on a nanometric scale (Nanoplus). The SVF Nanoplus Compile X, thanks to the even higher density and the lower resin content, allows to create even thinner, more reactive and super-sensitive blanks compared to the "standard" SVF Nanoplus carbon.
Furthermore, performance is further improved by the X45X Full Shield technology: a reinforcement composed of multiple layers of carbon, strengthens the barrel and reduces torsion during casting to improve precision.
These extremely high density and light carbon blanks, together with the very light AGS carbon rings, make the PRESSO ITALIAN SPECIAL unbeatable in sensitivity.
63UL
The "PRESSO LTD AGS 63UL Italian Special" is extremely sensitive with high casting capabilities. The lightness of the blank (99% carbon) allows an extraordinary sensitivity, able to let the fisherman perceive shy bites at long distances and allow to "hook" the fish more easily thanks also to the rigid section at the tip.

SVF Nanoplus
Combination of Nanoplus resin with SVF fibers. Nanoplus technology provides the composite material with high resistance and greater flexibility. In this way the material is able to absorb the strongest and most violent shocks more effectively.
X45
This new technology allows for blanks that are significantly stiffer and more resistant than the standard X45. Energy transfer along the blank is 25% more efficient, resulting in greater structural rigidity and torsional resistance.
AGS
A revolutionary construction concept has led to the creation of the first rings with a carbon frame. Not just any carbon, but a sophisticated multilayer with four-way weaving, extremely strong and extremely light at the same time. With the same diameter, a Daiwa AGS ring weighs 42% less than a Titanium one and is 3 times more rigid, with unimaginable advantages on the balance of the rod, on its sensitivity and, last but not least, on its look.
V-Joint
Perfect curves. This configuration makes the joint between the sections as flexible as the rest of the rod, with huge advantages in terms of resistance and reduction of residual oscillations during the casting phase.
