- The flashlight builds up a lot of heat when used at high power levels for extended periods. When the flashlight reaches a relatively high temperature, it automatically reduces output by a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops to a safe level, the flashlight gradually returns to the preset power level.
- When the voltage drops below 3.0V, the flashlight is programmed to switch to a lower brightness level until it reaches Eco mode. When this happens in Eco mode, the battery level indicator flashes red to remind users to replace or recharge the battery promptly. To ensure normal use, the flashlight does not automatically shut off and continues to operate until the battery is depleted or the battery protection plate is activated to prevent discharge.
- Disassembling the sealed head may damage the flashlight and void the warranty.
- Fenix recommends using a high-quality battery.
- If the flashlight is not used for a long time, remove the battery, otherwise the flashlight may be damaged due to electrolyte leakage.
- Unscrew the tail light a few turns or remove the battery to avoid accidental activation during storage or transport!
- Prolonged use may cause the O-ring to wear. To maintain a proper hydraulic seal, replace the O-ring with an approved replacement.
- Periodically cleaning the battery contacts improves the performance of the flashlight, as dirty contacts can cause flickering, intermittent lighting, or even no lighting at all for the following reasons:
- DO NOT leave this flashlight within the reach of children!
- DO NOT point this flashlight directly into anyone's eyes!
- DO NOT place the lamp head near flammable objects, high temperatures can cause objects to overheat and make them flammable/combustible!
- DO NOT use this flashlight inappropriately, such as holding it in your mouth, as this may cause serious personal injury or death if the flashlight or internal battery fails!
- This torch builds up a significant amount of heat during operation, resulting in a high torch body temperature. Use extreme caution to avoid burns.
- Unscrew the back of the flashlight a few turns or remove the battery to prevent accidental activation when the flashlight is placed in a closed, flammable environment, such as pockets and backpacks!
- The LED in this flashlight is not replaceable; therefore, when the LED reaches the end of its life, the entire flashlight will need to be replaced.
