The Zeiss DTI 1 is a compact and lightweight thermal imaging device with features such as Transition Zoom, which allows for uninterrupted observation thanks to the continuous zoom effect, as well as custom settings. The thermal imaging device features a new detection mode and four new color modes that significantly reduce the reflective effect of the screen, allowing heat sources to be clearly identified. The Zeiss DTI 1/19 has a field of view of 24 meters at 100 m and a range of 1,000 m.

Ease of use

The optimized shape of the housing makes the grip ergonomic and the operation intuitive for left- and right-handed people. The intelligent arrangement of the buttons and the optimized shape benefit the intuitive control of the tool.

Transition Zoom

Especially when observing a flock of birds, it is easy to lose sight of the animal as you zoom in. Observe your target at 4x magnification, continuously and without jerkiness: the transition zoom will allow you to constantly keep your gaze on the bird you are observing.

Three observation modes for every situation

Different environmental situations require different instrument settings. The DTI 1 has three pre-programmed observation modes: universal, detect and fog. The detect mode, for example, highlights heat sources even more, reducing the cold background. This allows you to see animals behind trees and bushes better than before.

8 different color modes

ZEISS thermal imaging cameras offer 8 color modes, so you can choose the setting that best suits your needs. "Black hot" and "white hot" deliver high-contrast images. When observing in areas with lush vegetation, "red hot" enables quick detection of heat sources. "rainbow" mode is ideal for spotting the smallest temperature differences. In addition, the four color modes have been redesigned to reduce screen glare in dark environments and reduce eye strain. "Red Hue" mode adjusts your eyes more easily in the dark. "Dark Hue" is easier on the eyes since it uses low-luminescence colors. "Green Hue" shows a wide variety of details at low screen brightness, while "Night Eye" highlights the warmest areas of the thermal image in a pleasant sepia tone.

High Frame Rate

ZEISS DTI thermal imaging scopes have a frame rate of 50 Hz. This refers to the number of times per second the monitor refreshes the screen. A higher rate means less image flickering, reducing eye strain when hunting for hours at a time.

Picture-in-Picture (PiP)

The Picture-in-Picture function of the ZEISS DTI allows the zoomed image to be superimposed on the visual image. This function helps to maintain the animal's view in zoom mode, even if it makes sudden movements.

Hot Tracking

In "Hot Tracking" mode the hottest source is framed by a red square. Locating heat sources in vegetated areas is easier.

Customizable settings

Nature observation can be a very individual activity. When it comes to optical viewers, every observer has their own personal preferences. For this reason, the new DTIs offer the possibility to select exactly which color modes are active and which are not: simply click on the ones you want to use. The same applies to setting the zoom level. It is now possible to limit the maximum zoom level as desired.
