Axion XM has a space-saving and pocket-sized format, weighing less than 250 grams. It is a classic option for hunting on the move and hiking. The device is easily handled and operated with both the right and left hand, thanks to the symmetrical layout of the buttons on the top panel.
Sensing distance up to 1300m
In the Axion XM thermal device, small dimensions are combined with high detection capacity. High-quality optics and a thermal sensor with 12 micron pixels allow you to observe a 180 cm high object from long distances, up to 1300 meters.
Ideal optical magnification
Thermal instruments solve the practical problems related to observations during a hunting trip right from the initial magnification. The magnification of Axion XM22F (2.5x) and Axion XM30F (3x) is optimal for easy observation of the object from short and medium distances. The field of view is adequate for observing dynamic scenes. Magnification is increased up to 4 times via digital zoom to identify objects at large distances.
Rugged magnesium alloy housing
Axion XM is built for prolonged and often brutal use. The magnesium alloy housing is lightweight yet robust, safely protecting the instrument's internal components from shocks, drops, moisture, heat and cold. Furthermore, a metal housing effectively dissipates heat from the electronic components, minimizes image noise and stabilizes the device's performance during prolonged observations.
Low energy consumption. 5 hours of battery life on a single charge.
Quick release APS3 rechargeable battery provides 5 hours of continuous heat tool operation on a single charge. Removal from the battery compartment and replacement is done in a few seconds. It is recharged in a dedicated device or by connecting it via USB connection to a PC, a power supply or a charger. These same power sources are used for the external power supply of the thermal instrument.
Frost-resistant AMOLED display
The high-contrast VGA resolution AMOLED display offers better color rendering, energy saving and fast response time, and provides sharp and precise images even when observing in freezing weather.
Color palettes
Eight color palettes improve observation in variable conditions. While the classic White Hot mode is versatile, the Hot Black mode is often used to detect animals at night. Red monochrome allows you to reduce or prevent eyepiece illumination. Sepia tends to improve observation over long distances, while Red Hot, Rainbow and Ultramarine modes improve the display of temperature differences between different parts of an object. Purple mode helps identify an object more quickly.
Photo and video recording
The integrated video recorder represents a great resource on all those occasions when you want to film or take photographs to remember unique experiences.
A simple press of the REC button allows you to capture images that can be easily shared with colleagues, friends and family.
The 16GB internal memory offers the ability to save many hours of footage and a large amount of photographs.
Wifi. Integration with iOS and Android devices via the Stream Vision 2 app
The built-in Wi-Fi module connects the device with Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 app. This offers several opportunities, such as wirelessly updating the device software, transmitting images to the display of a mobile device in time real, remote control of the instrument's digital functions and more. Users registered in the App have cloud storage space for photos and videos taken with a thermal or digital instrument.
