Shimano Trout One Area Special is a series of Shimano spinning rods dedicated to the Area Game, created for the demanding Japanese market, and is characterised by a very specific action for the purpose, slow/progressive, ideal for ultra light fishing with small crankbaits and microspoons.
The action has been specifically designed to drastically reduce unhooking, especially in those fishing situations where trout are not particularly aggressive and eat reluctantly; this detail will allow us to lose fewer fish during our fishing trips.
They are very light and sensitive rods, built with Shimano's Hi-Power X system to give them power and excellent casting qualities, without compromising their susceptibility to even the slightest touch.
This type of construction consists of diagonal wraps on the outside of the barrel with carbon sheets from the bottom to the tip of the rod. The "X" taping is specific to each rod, contributing to the characterization of the rod's action.
They are also embellished by their construction details, such as the Original Shimano reel seat and the cork handle.
They are mounted using the best Fuji K SIC rings suitable for the use of thin braided lines typical of the Trout Area.
