Description

The CROSSCAST 45 SCW QD LD is a mid-range Carp reel equipped with a 45 mm long profile spool: in this Long Distance (LD) variant it is equipped with a high capacity spool, capable of accommodating a greater quantity of line (530 m for 0.35 mm lines) to meet the needs of all anglers who need to reach spots located at great distances. The 45mm spool also favors even longer casts and, for greater fishing precision, is equipped with a "High Impact" cushioned line clip.

This version of the Crosscast also maintains the SCW spooling system: a true technological first developed by Daiwa engineers, this spooling system with slow cross oscillation (Slow Cross Wrap) optimizes line collection, positively influencing casting performance.

Great safety and power are guaranteed by the second generation Digigear gears and the super-tested 15kg Quick Drag clutch: going from free mode to the right brake in a fraction of a second can prove crucial when facing prey of great size and strength.
