The MGXtreme baitcast reel sets the standard for lightweight, compact design and continues to push the limits of low profile design with the ultra-lightweight Revo®, weighing just 130 grams.
The MGXtreme low profile reel combines the new SLC spool concept with hybrid ceramic bearings, creating a reel with top-notch casting performance at very low weight.
Characteristics :
- 8 HPCR stainless steel ball bearings + 1 rolling bearing provide increased corrosion protection
- The two additional CeramiLite pads in the spool allow for improved casting performance
- The Carbon Matrix clutch system offers uniform and continuous clutch pressure throughout the entire clutch range
- C6 carbon scales offer significant weight reduction without sacrificing strength and durability
- The Infinitely Variable Centrifugal Brake (IVCB-4) allows for very precise brake adjustment allowing anglers to easily cast a wide variety of lures
- Infini II spool design for longer casts and extreme loads
- The compact curved carbon handle offers a more ergonomic design that is extremely lightweight
- The X-Mag one-piece alloy frame is a very light and extremely durable frame
- Aircraft-grade aluminum helps reduce weight without sacrificing strength
