The FUEGO LT is a ZAION V carbon fiber body, not a nylon-based plastic you see in other manufacturers' reels at this price point. The new FUEGO is unique on the market at this price. You also get some weight reduction (3%-5%) as a result of this material design change.
Fuego also uses an AIRDRIVE ROTOR which significantly reduces weight. Daiwa has also incorporated a solid AIRDRIVE BAIL as opposed to a tubular design. The reason is that the metal we use is very strong, rigid and does not bend, but it is thinner and lighter. Our goal was to reduce the weight of the spindle, thus also reducing the weight of the reel. It also makes it easier to rotate the handle.
