ZEPHYR MK2 GTX MID it is the latest reinterpretation of a model that has now become legendary. Its balanced relationship between agility, lightness and stability makes it perfect for use by special forces units or the police, but also by regular combat forces. The MID-CUT high shaft provides the necessary support in fast rope operations and does not limit movements even in hand-to-hand combat. The outer materials used are a combination of water-repellent and tear-resistant suede and CORDURA®, a breathable and particularly abrasion-resistant material. An innovative clamp hook allows individual adjustment of the lacing in the forefoot and ankle area. The GORE-TEX Extended Comfort Footwear layer, waterproof and highly breathable, is perfect for use in contexts with a temperate and rather humid climate. The 2-layer PU midsole with MONOWRAP® structure surrounds and supports the foot like a sort of exoskeleton.

ZEPHYR MK2 GTX MID it is certified as professional footwear according to EN ISO 20347:2012, is antistatic and equipped with a complex sole that insulates both cold and heat. The tread not only boasts excellent anti-slip properties, but also resists contact heat, oil and fuels.

TWO ZONE LACING

Thanks to the two-zone lacing, you can adjust the laces on the forefoot and upper part of the ZEPHYR MK2 GTX MID separately. In this way it is possible to adapt the shoe to the specific anatomy of the foot and modify the lacing when going up and down.

DOUBLE INJECTION

The sole of the ZEPHYR MK2 GTX MID is connected to the upper using a technically complex injection procedure, which guarantees effective cushioning and high comfort. Then the upper part of the shoe is placed in a special form, which is then filled with several layers of polyethylene foam. The result? A sole connected directly to the upper forming a single unit.

Lightness

Polyurethane is used in this procedure. This is a very light foam.

Cushioning

Polyurethane is a very light foam that has excellent cushioning properties. Even if they are continually crushed, the millions of bubbles that compose it retain their shape and always return to their original state. The result is a good rebound effect.
