The Futura was developed for longer day tours and multi-day tours, where the goal is high comfort and easy handling. The new mesh of the Aircomfort back system ensures maximum ventilation. This means up to 25% less sweating and therefore greater performance. The ActiveFit movable shoulder straps and ergonomic hip fins (with forward adjustment) also ensure pleasant wearing comfort. Furthermore, the separate bottom compartment creates additional organizational possibilities in the backpack.

Woven with 600 denier polyester yarn and a thick PU coating, this tear-resistant, lightweight material is extremely versatile. When it comes to reducing the weight of your backpack as much as possible with moderate stress, this is the ideal solution. The "deuter Super Polytex BS" version is made in accordance with the strict bluesign® standard. The characteristics and stressors are identical.

ACTIVE COMFORT FIT

For an optimal fit, the backpack must be as close to the back as possible. In this way, the weight of the load will be well distributed across the entire back. The Active-Comfort-Fit back system promotes carrying comfort thanks to the stable and padded structure.

LESS SWEATING

LESS HEAT thanks to the all-round ventilation of the airy and comfortable mesh back system. The movable ActiveFit shoulder straps and the ergonomic hip fins (with forward adjustment) are also particularly comfortable.

DEUTER AIRCOMFORT

This new mesh back system combines maximum ventilation, ergonomic comfort and lightness. The innovative lumbar fin panel structure and smooth transition to the back mesh adhere tightly, ensuring a comfortable fit. The flexible frame construction made of constantly elastic and break-proof spring steel gives the Aircomfort back net a stable tension. A well-ventilated space is created between the backpack and the back through which humidity is dispersed. With the three-sided ventilation system patented by Deuter, sweating is reduced by 25%*. The high level of flexibility of the structure guarantees full freedom of movement.

50% RECYCLED

50% of the yarn is made with recycled raw materials. This saves 12% of greenhouse gases.

PFAS FREE

This deuter product is free from intentionally used PFAS (per- and polyfluorinated chemicals). deuter thus reduces the use of substances known to damage the environment and health.

For Outdoor products, PFAS are mainly used for water-repellent treatments.

Since 2019, however, deuter has been using the alternative DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation.
