Description
The big-eyed tree frog is found in Tanzania, Africa. It inhabits closed canopy humid tropical rain forests between 2900 and 5900 feet. In literature it is sometimes referred to as the Amani forest tree frog.
The big-eyed frog has two distinct color phases. In the first color phase they are bright and in the second phase they are brown with an irregular shape.
Some frogs show a transition from one color phase to another as they mature. The eyes are very large compared to the size of the body and are golden with brown lines and spots. It has large toe caps that are used for climbing.
Lures Factory's Big Eyed Frog and Big Eyed Frog Jr. are only designed based on the real Big Eyed Frog frog that you would find in most tropical rainforests.
Big Eyed Frog lures are 4.5cm long and weigh 11.5g and Red Eyed Frog Jr lures are 4cm long and weigh 6.5g. Both models feature high quality sturdy double hooks, high quality skirts and sturdy wire weed guard.
Both sets of big-eyed frogs, if retrieved at high speed, will move from side to side in a "panic" action that will trigger attacks!
