Switches
Spotlight: For power on/off, mode switching, lock function and spotlight mode output selection.
Floodlight: for on/off, mode switching, lock function and output selection in floodlight mode.

On off
Press and hold either switch for 0.5 seconds to turn on/off the lamp. The Med output level is set by default for first use. Subsequently, the light memorizes the last selected output, when it is turned on again the previously used output will be recalled.

Mode change
Press and hold either switch for 0.5 seconds to reach the corresponding mode.

Output selection
Spotlight Mode: For first time use, click the Spotlight switch to cycle between Med → High → Turbo → Low. Subsequently, the light memorizes the last selected output.
Floodlight Mode: For first time use, click the projector switch to cycle between Med → High → Low. Subsequently, the light memorizes the last selected output.

Lock function
Lock: With the lamp off, press and hold either switch or press the two switches at the same time for 3 seconds, the lamp will flash 4 times in the projector's Low mode to indicate the lock status.
Unlocking: with the lamp locked, press the two switches simultaneously for 3 seconds, the lamp will activate with 4 flashes of one second and will activate in Low of floodlight mode.
In locked state, clicking or pressing the switches will trigger 4 one-second flashes to indicate the locked state.

recharge
Uncover the dust cap and connect the USB Type-C side of the charging cable to the lamp's charging port.
The normal charging time of the Fenix ​​​​ARB-L18-3500 rechargeable lithium-ion battery is approximately 2 hours with the lamp turned off. While charging, you can select Med output of Spotlight or Floodlight mode separately or simultaneously. The light will not turn on automatically after fully charged.
During the charging process, one indicator flashes: less than 20%, one on and one flashing: 21% -50%, two constant on and one flashing: 51% -80%, three constant on and one flashing: 81% - 95%, four constants: charging complete.
Replace the dust cap to ensure waterproof and dustproof ability.
Battery level indication
With the lamp off, click either switch to check the battery status, click the lamp again to turn off immediately or without any operation the state will last for 3 seconds. There will be no response with the lamp blocked.

Three lights on: 80% - 61%
Two lights on: 60% - 41%
One light on: 40% - 21%
One light flashes: 20% - 0%
Battery replacement
Unscrew the battery cover counterclockwise to insert the battery with the anode (+) side facing, then screw the battery cover back on.

Low voltage warning
When the battery level is detected as critical for the currently used output, one of the indicators will flash to remind you. Replace the battery or recharge the lamp as soon as possible.

Upper fascia removal/assembly
Notice: The headband is factory assembled by default.

Slide the band through the slot in the adjustment clip.
Slide the adjustment clip through the slot in the rear top strap holder.
Slide the adjustment clip through the sub clip.
Remove the secondary clip through the front upper band holder slot.

Use and maintenance
Disassembly of the sealed head may cause damage to the lamp and void the warranty.
Fenix ​​recommends using an excellent quality Fenix ​​18650 battery.
If the lamp will not be used for a long time, remove the battery or the lamp may be damaged by electrolyte leakage.
Long-term use may cause wear of the O-ring. To maintain proper water tightness, replace the ring with an approved replacement
Periodically cleaning the battery contacts improves the performance of the lamp as dirty contacts can cause the lamp to flicker, shine intermittently, or not even light up for the following reasons:
A: The battery needs to be replaced.
Solution: Replace the battery (make sure the battery is inserted according to the manufacturer's specifications).
B: The wires, PCB board contact or other contacts are dirty.
Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton ball soaked in alcohol.
If the above methods do not work, contact your distributor.
