Also on this series the construction process is HPC (High Pressure Carbon) technology usually intended for top-of-the-range series of rods. Great reliability, with attractive cosmetics, tip action and great balance. They are available in sizes from 5 to 9m and are built with HPC60 carbon + Biofibre.
HPC60 & Biofibres
HPC High Pressure Carbon Shimano High Pressure Carbon is a manufacturing process from which resistant and sensitive blanks are obtained. Pressure is applied to the surface of the shell during firing, evenly distributing the resin through the carbon fiber matrix. The result is a better rod that is much more resistant and sensitive.
Biofibre The addition of Biofibre strengthens the carbon fibers in all directions. This offers exceptional impact resistance, lightness, power and great reactivity.
