Thanks to the combination of high modulus carbon, HPC (High Pressure Carbon) and Nanosheet technology, the Aero X5 offers fantastic performance across the range. The feeder rods do everything you expect from a high quality range and offer excellent casting and fighting performance, whilst having the versatility of 3 interchangeable quivertips. All models feature Seaguide XOG anti-tangle rings, selected and spaced based on each model's intended use. The high quality cork/EVA handle has a classic design and is complemented by a custom designed reel seat with screw cap for added convenience.

• Shimano NANO carbon is a technology that allows us to create blanks that are 35% more resistant and 15% lighter than traditional ones. The blank has an inner core made of NANO carbon sheet. This sheet has a special texture that allows the use of a low percentage of resin which is spread in micro particles (NANO) throughout the blank. This guarantees lightness, resistance and reactivity of the blank.

• Shimano High Pressure Carbon is a manufacturing process from which resistant and sensitive blanks are obtained. Pressure is applied to the surface of the shell during firing, evenly distributing the resin across the carbon fiber matrix. The result is a better rod that is much stronger and more sensitive.
