The new Caldia takes the qualities that have made it famous over the years and brings them to the next level: great lightness, excellent construction quality and, last but not least, a sober and elegant style. The body is still a monocoque in ZAION V but all the technological innovations brought by the AIRDRIVE DESIGN construction concept have been introduced. Introduced on the top of the range 22EXIST and gradually adopted on the other series, the Caldia is now improved in the rotor, spool, bail and line roller. The drag has also changed: the ATD-L is very smooth when it comes to dampening the first solicitation of the fish and then hardens and stops the fish's escapes properly. The 5000 versions, new sizes for this series, host a drag more oriented to power: an ATD Tough with carbon disks, to more effectively counteract large prey.

AIRDRIVE ROTOR

The new Airdrive rotor built in ZAION V has a more symmetrical and balanced design, built to minimize weight and rotational inertia.

AIRDRIVE BAIL

A latest-generation solid arch, super-light and ultra-resistant. The particular shape, together with the new Twist Buster 3 roller, makes it extremely more effective in the smoothness of the line, significantly reducing the risk of tangles when fishing.

AIRDRIVE SPOOL

A newly designed spool, lightened and redesigned to maximize the flow of the line and to avoid tangles during recovery, thanks to the lower profile with a redesigned edge.
