Ballistol Aluminum Browning for Surface Finishing is the first aluminum browning product approved for end-user use, making it suitable for more than just commercial use. Easy to apply even for non-professionals, this brush-on black aluminum alloy browning product is abrasion resistant and durable. This makes it ideal for repairing scratches and scuffs, but also for bluing applications such as scope mounts, semi-automatic handguards, or even entire small components.

Application Tip : The burnishing is impressive due to its very easy application. The only thing to remember is to degrease the surface before burnishing. Suitable products for this purpose include Ballistol Cold Degreaser, Ballistol Gun Parts Cleaner or Ballistol Brake and Parts Cleaner. If necessary, the surface can also be lightly sanded. Apply the burnishing evenly and leave for 20-30 seconds. Then dab dry and reapply. After 3-4 repetitions, rinse with water and then store the surface. Important: Do not use below 20 °C.
Burnishing is very economical. About 100 ml is needed for one square meter.
For safe and proper use, please refer to the instructions. Aluminum and aluminum alloys have very different compositions. Therefore, bluing can produce different results. The instructions also include a table illustrating the possible effects of bluing aluminum.
