Waterproof shoe in Gore-Tex® membrane specific for winter running. Structured and protective, it is suitable for Ultra Trails, Ultra Marathons and extended training sessions in the winter months. Akyra GTX® is particularly enveloping, comfortable and breathable.

DESCRIPTION

It adopts a water-repellent and anti-drag mesh upper that is very enveloping and structured on 3 layers which give from the inside out: comfort, thanks to the seamless construction, flexibility and structure thanks to the innovative MicroLite Skeleton™ application which follows the movement of the foot dynamically while running, protection thanks to the Flex-Guard™ structural applications which keep the shoe light but at the same time providing a barrier against abrasions possible when running among rocks and roots. The exceptional stability is given by the TrailCage System™ technology which, placed between the two layers of the upper, gives structure and envelopment by integrating with the lacing system. The sole developed by the La Sportiva R&D department features the new FriXion XT grippy tread with Impact Brake System and exclusive design with Trail Rocker technology which favors the natural "external heel-internal toe" support of the foot during running. Cushioning, protection and comfort , 3 sides of a perfect geometry: origami, which inspires the general design of the shoe. With Akyra winter running is an art.
