ZEPHYR MK2 GTX MID This is the latest reinterpretation of a model that has become legendary. Its balanced combination of agility, lightness, and stability makes it perfect for use by special forces or police units, as well as by regular combat forces. The high MID-CUT shaft provides the necessary support for fast rope operations and does not restrict movement even in close combat. The upper materials used are a combination of water-repellent and tear-resistant suede and CORDURA®, a breathable and particularly abrasion-resistant material. An innovative clamp hook allows for individual adjustment of the lacing in the forefoot and ankle areas. The waterproof and highly breathable GORE-TEX Extended Comfort Footwear midsole is ideal for use in temperate and rather humid climates. The 2-layer PU midsole with MONOWRAP® structure surrounds and supports the foot like a kind of exoskeleton.

ZEPHYR MK2 GTX MID It is certified as professional footwear according to EN ISO 20347:2012, is antistatic, and features a complex sole that insulates from both cold and heat. The tread not only boasts excellent slip resistance, but is also resistant to contact heat, oil, and fuel.

TWO ZONE LACING

Thanks to the two-zone lacing system, the laces on the forefoot and upper of the ZEPHYR MK2 GTX MID can be adjusted separately. This allows you to adapt the shoe to the specific anatomy of your foot and modify the lacing for climbing and descending.

DOUBLE INJECTION

The ZEPHYR MK2 GTX MID sole is bonded to the upper using a technically complex injection process, ensuring effective cushioning and high comfort. The upper part of the shoe is then placed in a special mold, which is then filled with multiple layers of polyethylene foam. The result? A sole bonded directly to the upper, forming a single unit.

Lightness

This process uses polyurethane, a very lightweight foam.

Cushioning

Polyurethane is a very light foam with excellent cushioning properties. Even when continuously compressed, its millions of tiny bubbles retain their shape and always return to their original state. The result is a good rebound effect.

Thanks to direct injection, it's possible to create a wide variety of sole variants. The diverse properties of the materials used allow for a broad and diverse range of applications for the shoes.
