What does no subscription mean?
Icucam5 has an integrated SIM card which, unlike other camera traps equipped with this feature, does not require any subscription costs. With Icucam you will only pay for the photos that the camera will send to your connected device, and 2000 photos are included with the purchase.
How do Coins work?
  • for photos: each photo corresponds to one Coin if set to S or M (photo sending size), while 2 Coins if set to L
  • for videos: each second of video corresponds to one coin for Premium or Plus users, 2 coins for Basic users
Once the coins run out, what should I do?
Once the coins have run out, you can buy them back through the app in the form of packages (e.g. 300 photos €6.99 - 1000 photos €16.99 etc..)
How long do the batteries last?
Icucam can be powered with two types of batteries:
  • 8x standard AA: on average the duration is around 1 month in the hottest periods
  • 3x rechargeable 18650 Li-Ion batteries: on average the duration is around 3 months
Can I stop sending photos to my device?
It is possible to stop sending photos to your device directly from your smartphone, tablet (via the icuapp app) or from your PC (via the icuserver.com website). It will then be possible to reactivate everything with a simple click.
Can I share my photos with other friends?
Yes, it is possible to share photos with other people too, you will need to download the Icuapp app and share our cameras with our friends.
Only send photos to device?
No, with ICU CLOM Cam5 there is the possibility of also requesting videos directly via the app.
Can I set a specific working period for the camera trap?
