- The flashlight will build up a lot of heat if used at high power levels for extended periods. When the flashlight reaches a temperature of 60°C/140°F or higher, it will automatically decrease the output by a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60°C/140°F, the flashlight will gradually restore the preset power level.
- When the voltage drops below the preset level, the flashlight is programmed to switch to a lower brightness level until the minimum power level is reached. When this happens, the battery level indicator flashes red to remind users to recharge or replace the battery as soon as possible.
- Disassembling the sealed head may damage the flashlight and void the warranty.
- Fenix recommends using a high-quality battery.
- If the flashlight is not used for a long time, remove the battery, otherwise the flashlight may be damaged due to electrolyte leakage.
- Unscrew the rear cap a few turns or remove the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transport.
- Prolonged use may cause the O-ring to wear. To maintain a proper hydraulic seal, replace the O-ring with an approved replacement.
- Periodically cleaning the flashlight and battery contacts improves the performance of the flashlight, as dirty contacts can cause the flashlight to flicker, flash, or even not light at all for the following reasons:
- DO NOT leave this flashlight within the reach of children!
- DO NOT point this flashlight directly into anyone's eyes!
- DO NOT place the lamp head near flammable objects, high temperatures can cause objects to overheat and make them flammable/combustible!
- DO NOT use this flashlight inappropriately, such as holding it in your mouth, as this may cause serious personal injury or death if the flashlight or internal battery fails!
- This flashlight accumulates a considerable amount of heat during operation, resulting in a high light source temperature. Use extreme caution to avoid burns.
- Remove the battery to avoid accidental activation when the flashlight is placed in a closed, flammable environment, such as pockets and backpacks!
- The LED in this light is not replaceable; therefore, when the LED reaches the end of its useful life, the entire light will need to be replaced.
